Young Ringers
Young Ringers Practices
We hold monthly practices which are specially arranged for young ringers (under 19), whether members or not. The sessions are well supported, open to all young ringers and are specifically structured to cater for all abilities. As the practices move into the spring we begin to select a team to represent the Association in the next Ringing World National Youth Striking Competition. We’ve done very well in this competition, our very talented teams won in York in 2013, Worcester in 2014, Oxford in 2015 and London in 2016!
Please encourage your young ringers to come along; they have the opportunity to meet with other ringers of their own age, to make new friends and enjoy the relaxed ringing atmosphere. Practices are generally held on the second Sunday of the month (except on Mothering Sunday) from 2.00 ’til 4.00pm. Cake is generally available!
